This is a middle grade or early YA book intended for kids who love nature and science. It focuses on encouraging girls to enjoy STEM, including computer programming. Every chapter starts with a short block of JavaScript code.

I want a cover that points to computers and networking as well as trees and nature. The story is about a young girl learning how to use her skills in computer programming to help out both the grove she lives in and the human world she inhabits. I do not want a dryad depicted as a woman with leaves for hair or growing out of a tree. Dryads in this story look like human women and girls. Also, many YA books have very DARK covers, and I want to go a little more light than that. This book is not dark, and I don’t want the cover to be misleading.
