UPDATE Jan 31 2024: We just received an updated brand/identity deck from our designer. I uploaded this file (Solar Slice brand guidelines PDF). Please review, this will be helpful for clarifying the brand! The overall tone should be hopeful, positive, and encouraging. We are trying to provide a product that helps people make a change and feel less helpless in the face of climate change. Below is more information for context. I have also attached a design deck with example colors and our logo. We are option to variations on this "feel", but if the design is wildly different than our other branding, it will likely not be a good fit. We need stock photos for ads, website, etc. and are happy to purchase them if they are a good fit. Solar Slice is a start-up looking to launch its first product via a crowdfunding campaign in the next 2-3 months. Solar Slice will sell a product called a "Slice". Each Slice someone buys will support 50 watts of new solar energy at a plant we will build. The buyer will track how much energy is produced by his/her Slice(s) on our mobile app where they can also see how much carbon has been avoided, earn "reward" points, etc. Slice buyers do not receive financial payments. They buy Slices as a way to support the expansion of renewable energy without needing to own a home for rooftop solar panels or to pay many thousands of dollars to install panels. Slices will cost $100-150 and will generate reward points for 15 years. Reward points can be used to support reforestation, animal habitat renewable, etc. Slices are a digital product. The buyer does not need to change any aspect of his/her home or electric utility contract. Slice customer profile: - Middle/upper income - Age 30-44 - Eco-conscious - Live in USA, specifically in California, Oregon, Washington, Michigan, or New York where voluntary green power programs by utilities are popular
